Finale, Finale, Finale …

Heute kommt die Anleitung für den letzten Block „Wonderful Bow“ und die Fertigstellung des Tischläufers aus unserem #wonderfultimesal.

Weihnachten kann kommen. Die wundervollen Läufer werden unsere Tische schmücken.

Nun steht dem gemeinsamen Kaffeetrinken via Zoom am Samstag, 26. November 2022 von 15.00 bis 16.00 Uhr nichts mehr im Wege.

Die Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist ein komplett fertiges Quilttop mit allen acht Weihnachtskugeln.

Die Anmeldung ist bis Sonntag 20. November 2022 möglich!

Wir danken euch für eure Begeisterung – es haben über 190 mit genäht!  Es ist wundervoll, dass ihr genauso viel Freude damit habt.

Wonderful Bow

Der Wonderful Bow Block ist zum Abschluss noch einmal ein leicht genähter Block. Die kleine Schleife erinnert an die Geschenke unter dem Weihnachtsbaum. Eine Schleife auf einem Geschenk verlockt doch ganz besonders dazu, das Geschenk sofort auszupacken.

Zusammensetzung des Tischläufers

Der Tischläufer kann nun zusammengesetzt und gequiltet werden. Wir freuen uns schon sehr auf eure Versionen.

Wonderful Bow

Isn’t it a lovely little bow? This ornament reminds me of all the wonderful gifts under our christmas tree. Every year the kids eyes are glowing and the excitement is huge. It all comes together, when the little kids are unwrapping their gifts.
Did you know, we families of the former GDR saved the bows? We even pressed them to reuse them for the next christmas. I still remember my mom hand washed and dried them. They where carefully packed and hidden away for the next year. They where definitely not thrown out. And till today, I admire beautiful wrapped gifts…

Assembly of the Quilt-Top

It’s time to assemble the Quilt-Top. Here you’ll find the necessary information to finish your table runner.

We are hoping, that you are having a wonderful time while stitching. It was a pleasure to see all the excitement on instagram and facebook. A lot of beautiful little blocks has been posted. We are sure, that all of us, will sit on a beautifully decorated table in December.

Thank you for all the lovely comments and likes. We are so happy, that we could share a little bit of joy. It’s so wonderful, how threads and needles are holding not only fabric, but also countries and regions together.
